We're Mashed. We take the characters you love and do terrible, beautiful, deeply unhinged things to them. We've been doing it for over a decade and somehow nobody's stopped us yet.

Over 8 million followers. Over 2 billion views. 1,700+ animations and counting.

All made by a small team in Bath, UK, who probably should have got proper jobs by now.

THE STUFF YOU LOVE, BUT DIFFERENT

You might know us from the Sonic storylines that got way too real. Or the time we gave Luigi a full existential crisis. Or Donkey Kong fighting literally everyone. Or that Secret History episode that made you question everything about your favourite game.

We make animated films for the internet. Short ones, long ones, dark ones, stupid ones. Battle raps between characters who should never meet. Horror episodes of cartoons that were supposed to be wholesome. Multi part sagas that start as comedy and end with you genuinely emotionally invested in a blue hedgehog's wellbeing.

We also work with some of the biggest studios in gaming to make content their communities actually care about. And we're building original shows too, because apparently we enjoy making life harder for ourselves.

Mashed is independent. Properly independent. No network behind us. No corporate owner. No venture capital. We fund our animation through brand partnerships, Mashed+ memberships, and this store.

Every purchase here goes directly into making more of the stuff you watch. New episodes, new series, new original shows. The desk mat on your desk funded someone's animation software licence. The hoodie you're wearing paid for voice recording sessions. That's not a marketing line. That's literally how this works.

We're not asking you to save us. We're asking you to keep us making weird stuff. There's a difference.

EVERY FRAME COMES FROM THIS STUDIO

We're a small team. The kind of small where everyone knows each other's coffee order and arguments about animation timing happen daily.

Every frame of every film is made here. We write it, storyboard it, animate it, record it, edit it and argue about it until it's done. Then we put it on the internet and watch the comments roll in.

The merch is the same way. Every design comes from our actual films. The artwork is made by the same people who make the animation. We don't slap a logo on a blank tee and call it a day. If it's in this store, it's because we'd genuinely wear it ourselves.
